Local Landscaper Donates Services to Library

Willowick, Ohio—November 9, 2009—Next year the grounds of Willoughby-Eastlake Public Library will blossom with community goodwill. Perfection Landscaping and Design has donated landscaping services for 2010 to three library buildings—Eastlake, Willowick and Willoughby—after the libraries were featured in a WKYC report on funding troubles at area libraries. “One of the cost-saving measures we’ve taken was to cancel our landscaping contracts,” said Library Director Kathy Williams. Perfection Landscaping and Design’s generous owner, who doesn’t wish his personal name to be published in regards to the donation, saw the televised report and wanted to share the success his company has enjoyed by giving back to his community.

Perfection Landscaping and Design has been in business for 2 years and is located in Eastlake.

Williams said that the library community is genuinely touched by the act of kindness and inspired by the spirit of generosity. “Our community has shown us time and again that they love libraries, and we are so very grateful.”
